| In August 2010, STAR, together with management, completed the acquisition of Pepcom GmbH (“pepcom”) from GMT Communication Partners and Veronis Suhler Stevenson.
Pepcom is Germany’s 6th largest cable operator with more than 630,000 subscribers of video, broadband and voice services. Pepcom operates across Germany, providing a full range of services including analogue and digital T.V. channels, digital pay T.V., broadband and VOIP telephony.
Pepcom focuses on serving the needs of housing associations and managers of apartment buildings by building, owning and operating advanced cable T.V. and broadband networks.
STAR’s aim is to support the continued growth of the business in the German market and continue to expand the company’s service offering with innovative services for landlords and tenants.

- Pepcom has long term contracts with housing associations, which provide good downside protection;
- It offers a number of ways to enhance value and generate upside; and
