STAR acquires Glenholme SC

STAR Capital Partnership ("STAR") is pleased to announce that the STAR IV Fund has acquired the Glenholme Specialist Care Division ("Glenholme SC") from Glenholme Healthcare Group. Glenholme SC provides specialist care services for working-age adults with learning disabilities and other complex needs in supported living and residential care facilities in England. STAR will become majority owners alongside the founder and CEO, Don Serratt. STAR is joined by Mel Ramsey (ex-CEO of several UK care businesses) as Chair. 

Glenholme represents a strong fit with STAR's "Essential Services" investment theme as it provides indispensable, long-stay, non-cyclical, and asset-backed services from 22 well-invested freehold locations. The sector represents a core and growing segment of the UK's social infrastructure.

Glenholme SC reflects the Strategic Asset characteristics STAR seeks in its investments:
