Overview

In August 2019, STAR completed the acquisition of Windlogix Holdings (“Windlogix”).

Windlogix is a leader in on-shore wind turbine installation, having erected over 6,000 turbines and installed capacity in excess of 11GW globally since it was established in 2005. The company’s differentiated service offering combines a modern crane fleet with a pool of skilled technicians delivering timely, reliable and innovative engineering services to the leading wind turbine Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Windlogix successfully diversified into the off-shore space through the successful completion of the portside construction of 84 offshore wind towers for the 588MW Beatrice offshore wind project.

In this buy-in transaction, STAR will support the incoming management team in its strategy of continuing to provide reliable service to its core customers and will invest in expanding into adjacent areas and markets, alongside its customers, both on- and off-shore.
